Here are some fabulous places to go to hear more music; much like you hear on Rockin' Radio!

If you like your rock and roll rare but well done, check out these recommended favorites!

BIG STEVE COLE'S DIFFERENT KIND OF OLDIES SHOW (formerly heard over WBCQ, THE PLANET). Steve plays great songs from the early days of rock and roll. He even dips into the 40's sometimes. This great show also runs over Live 365 the way Rockin' Radio does, and also over the Doo Wop Cafe radio network.  Here is the direct URL to his website: http://www.dkosmedia.com        To catch his podcasts, see below.

LOST DISCS RADIO SHOW--Formerly broadcasting over shortwaver WBCQ, The Planet, this show plays a very wild and crazy variety of oldies. You can find Jim E. Night and Dr. Doc Brown right here on Rockin' Radio! Check out their website: http://www.lostdiscsradio.com

DESTINATION DOO WOP--This is another great place to hang on Live 365. Just as their name implies, they play mostly DOO-WOP! http://www.destinationdoowop.com/show.htm

YESTERDAY'S MEMORIES--Ed & B.C. have a real nice down home rare oldies show going. Check them out at: http://www.realoldies.com

STREET CORNER RADIO SHOW with Steve Fox--Here's another great online show that has the right idea--just play some nice doo wop and jock the songs so you can figure out what you're hearing. Steve does about as good a doo wop show as anyone around and his shows are archived at his site. He told us that he has "been in radio for a long time, but never had the chance to play 50's group harmony. It's a dream come true and a labor of love."  That's what we like to hear! You'll find Steve and his shows at: http://fox45rpm.com/

BEATLE SECTION: If you LOVE the Beatles and have to hear them 24/7, just try out some of these great Beatle stations:

BLOGS

Los Angeles TV personality Lloyd Thaxton did a dandy show on TV in the 60's. He blogs about his life on his website at: http://www.lloydthaxton.blogspot.com. He passed away in 2008 but as long as that blogsite still links to us, we'll return the favor.

Our Soul man, Brian Phillips now and again hooks up with his pal Jason Stone, the Stepfather of Soul. They have done some great shows together in the past. Here is the place for Jason's blog about some great rare soul music:  http://www.stepfatherofsoul.blogspot.com/ Jason has guested on Rockin' Radio before and could do it again at almost any time!

FACEBOOK

And if you really want to show support, 'become a fan' of the station on Facebook! Just log into your account in Facebook, do a search for "Rockin' Radio" and become our fan!  THANKS!
